The following are the core beliefs of The CAMP Church Family, based on the foundational truth taught in the Holy Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is deeply rooted and formed from these biblical doctrines.
We believe the The Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, written by holy men of old as they were inspired by the Holy Ghost.
We believe in one God who is infinite in power holy in nature, attributes and purposes, as well as omniscient and omnipresent. We believe that He was revealed to us as Father in creation, through His Son for our redemption, and as the Holy Spirit in His grace and authoritative power in our lives, that will never leave those who trust in Him.
We wholeheartedly and undeniably believe in the virgin birth. As outlined in the Holy Bible, Jesus was both human and divine. He was God's Perfect Plan of Salvation manifested in the Flesh (human body). We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. We believe He ascended on high and sent His spirit, the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem during Pentecost over 2000 years ago. It is the same Spirit that is filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today.
We follow the teachings of the Apostles as detailed out in the book of Acts, where Peter instructed those devout Jews that were at Pentecost, to Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you and your children and to all who are afar off. (Acts 2:38-42) We also believe that the infilling of the Holy Ghost is evident by the new convert experiencing speaking with other tongues as the Spirit (Holy Ghost) gives the utterance, as according to Acts 1:8 and Acts 2:1-4. This constitutes the New Birth.
We believe in a holy and sanctified life, which can we grow into through the process of Discipleship. We believe in divine healing and deliverance and the blessed partaking of the Lord's Supper also referred to as communion. We also practice foot washing. We also believe in the glorious catching away (the Rapture) of the saints, when Jesus returns in the clouds in glory, to take His people to Heaven
We believe that he Name of Jesus Christ is the only saving name
